Women's Auxiliary
The Woman's Auxilary is located in the large green building.
The Woman’s Auxiliary is an active and important source of funding for the club through its sales of tee-shirts, sweatshirts, polka dot hats, buttons, dishcloths, cutlery, key chains, and other items of interest.
The first meeting of the Woman’s Auxiliary took place on March 13, 1977. Some of the first items sold were polka dot hats, tee-shirts, cookbooks, and steam themed jewelry with 25 dozen polka dot hats sold at $1.25 each, along with 700 cookbooks. Club Watch Fobs were available from 1976 to 1978 and again in 1998.
Cutlery was introduced in 1979 and in 1982 “I’d Rather Be Steaming” license plates were introduced.
Stop by the large green building to see spinning demonstrations and historical memorabilia. You can also find club items for sale, buttons, hats, t-shirts, cuttlery, dishcloths, etc.
